Just wanted to say thank you for organising a wonderful trip for of Vietnam for us, we really enjoyed it all.
One of our favourite places was the Mai Chau Eco Lodge, would havebeen good to have another night there, as so relaxing and pretty part of the country.
Our guide in Hoi An was Luian , who was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable and good understanding of English, she was a delight to show us around this area. Also Joseph in Saigon was very knowledgeable too
The drivers were amazing in all the areas and glad to put ourselves in their care. All the cars were comfortable and well equipped with water and cold cloths throughout the trip.
We found the hotels all well equipped and enjoyed the tea/coffee making facilities in each room and also enjoyed having a pool at each hotel, being so hot this really helped in relaxing. All the food at the hotels was enjoyable and a good variety of food.
As John mentioned to you, we only had to ask the Grand Silverland Hotel in Saigon for a larger room as the first night found the room very cramped, this they did without any fuss and made the next 3 nights much more enjoyable.
The cooking class run by Sabirama Cooking Tour & Restaurant was amazing and we had a very capable chef, Sam, she really made the experience a wonderful one.
Only thing – on Day 8: 17 April 2017, in your itinerary there was mention of seafood lunch before our drive back to Hanoi. We didn’t get this, even though we weren’t hungry when we left Halong Bay, we were wondering if we were going to stop along the way back to Hanoi for lunch somewhere, we did stop at a place that sold all sorts of goods and clothes. There was a café there, but we didn’t know if we had time to stop and have something to eat. By the time we reached Hanoi we were both very hungry, we now realise we should have said something to Carn our guide.
A wonderful trip, and a wonderful country. Will definitely recommend you and your company to anyone thinking of travelling to Vietnam or the other Asian countries.
